Slade Joseph Wilson a.k.a Deathstroke. The deadliest assassin in the world.

ORIGINS

Slade Joseph Wilson at age 16, ran away from home to join the U.S. Army. He, of course, lied about his age but got excepted into the army. In the army, he served in the Korean war for not too long, then was transferred to Camp Washington. At Camp Washington, Slade was promoted to the ranking of Major in the army. After being countlessly held at such a noble, serious, and brave soldier status and being promoted through each rank. Slade eventually in the 1960's met Captain Adeline Kane. Adeline Kane became Slade's instructor/superior. Slade was skeptical since Adeline was a woman, but he saw her and how she instructed and her fighting techniques, which made him respect her more. Adeline taught other young soldiers during the time of the coming Vietnam war era. Slade (as one of those students) stood out as the best she's ever seen before. Slade performed, learned, and grasped all the teachings and fighting techniques that were shown to him. He had remarkable skill in the area of combat that took Adeline by surprise. Slade demonstrated a hierarchy of excellence in several different fighting styles which in turn, had him promoted to Lieutenant in less than a year. around 6 months later, after Adeline taught Slade. They developed feelings for each other and sooner than later a romantic bond. This led to them getting married and having their first child together. They had a baby boy together and named him Grant Wilson. Slade still was tied to the army and was placed in a special forces unit named Team 7. Mission after mission he was a successful soldier but one mission that he was in, deeply bothered and haunted him. The mission was to massacre a whole entire village which he and his team did. The disbandment of Team 7 happened fairly soon after this mission. Slade was called upon by the U.S. army yet again but not for a mission. This time it was for a secret experiment test to create a meta-human super soldier. Willingly, Slade gave his approval to undergo this experiment. The experiment gave enhanced abilities to Slade. This experiment enhanced speed, strength, intelligence, agility, senses, and reflexes. After the experiment in the following months, Slade and Adeline had another child who was a boy they named Joseph Wilson. One day though changed everything for Slade. Slade's friend Wintergreen, was sent on a suicide mission and caught by the enemies. Slade tried to get the military to save his friend but they wouldn't. Slade now feeling its in his hands to save his lifelong friends life. Put together the suit, that would define him forever the way we see him in each comic, video game, show, etc. Slade on a warpath entered enemy lines and killed every last enemy holding his friend hostage. Slade knowing that he went against his superiors on doing this solo mission. Know's he will get discharged from the army and that's what exactly happens to him. Slade now isn't Slade anymore, he is now the persona he created. The costume that he made aided in the creation of his persona he lives as now. That persona is the one we all know very well and that is Deathstroke. The assassin of assassins, the deadliest mercenary of all time, and one heck of a supervillain. As Deathstroke became a mercenary and gets hired for contract kills. He makes some enemies along the way of this dark path. A criminal takes Deathstroke's youngest son Joesph hostage. Deathstroke comes after these criminals with a vengeance to take his son back. The criminals want one thing and one thing only. To have Deathstroke give up the name of a client that had him hired as an assassin. Deathstroke just could not do this, this was against his own honor code. Deathstroke did the one thing he was trained to do. He fought the kidnappers and killed them but one of the kidnappers cut Josephs throat which damaged his vocal cords making him a mute. Deathstroke lives with a lot of anger and is embraced in the world of assassins and villains. He makes a name for himself all over the world and a lot in Gotham City.

ONE MORE ORIGIN PIECE

Now, Deathstroke and his right eye and how he lost his right eye has been changed a few times so I'm going to give three versions that I know about and think are the only three versions out there.

1. Adeline (Deathstroke's wife) is enraged by the fact Josephs vocal cords. Are damaged and that because of Deathstroke's work. Their child was injured severely and cannot talk again. Adeline tries to shoot Deathstroke but misses and a bullet goes into his eye which causes him to lose his eye which is why he wears the mask that he wears. The mask that he wears has a black, featureless half covering his lost eye. When he doesn't have a mask covering his face. He is seen wearing a patch over his lost eye.
2. In the movie, Son of Batman, Damian fights against Deathstroke in a ruthless fight. Damian punches Deathstroke right in the eye with a blade and Deathstroke loses the eye.
3. In the TV show, Arrow, Green Arrow and Deathstroke fight and Green Arrow plunges an arrow into Deathstroke's eye.
4. (any one of these ways that Deathstroke lost his eye sounds so incredibly painful)

DEATHSTROKE FACTS

1. Deathstroke has healing abilities and can heal his own wounds
2. Deathstroke once actually killed a titan......Yes, a titan like Gods and Titans type thing the Titan's name was Lapetus and Deathstroke, of course, since he's a contract killer was contracted to kill the titan.
3. Deathstroke has beaten Batman more times than Batman has beaten Deathstroke!
4. Deathstroke's armor rebuilds itself and Deathstroke has the self-healing ability.
5. Deathstroke cut Batman's plane in half with one swing of his sword.
6.  Deathstroke was paid by the infamous Two-Face villain to train him to be a better marksman.
7. Deathstroke and Deadshot always compete to see who is the better assassin.
8. Deathstroke can lift 5 tons and can use 90% of his brain.
9. Deathstroke knows Batman's true identity.
10. Deathstroke has a deep anger for the Green Arrow.
11. Deathstroke was originally named after his sword hence the name Death Stroke because of how good and fast with a sword he is.
12. Deathstroke's first appearance was in December 1980 in The New Teen Titans #2.
13. Deathstroke was created by Marv Wolfman and George Perez.
14. Deathstroke appeared in the ending of the Justice League movie.
15. A quote from Deathstroke "No more work for hire. From today, I'll decide who needs to die"

Abilities- Superhuman Agility, strength, intelligence, reflexes, durability, hand to hand combat skills and enhanced senses.

Weapons- Beretta 92 FS, Mateba Autorevolver, Cobray Street Sweeper, Heckler & Koch MP5K, Uzi, Custom AR-15, Colt M4A1, Browning M2, GAU-17/A, KPV heavy machine gun, M230 Chain gun, M203, and my personal favorite The God Killer Sword (he used this sword against many but it's most known for killing the titan Iapetus), etc.

MY OPINION ON DEATHSTROKE

Deathstroke is one of my favorite characters in the DC universe. He is my favorite villain in the DC Universe and even the Marvel universe which is a whole different universe. I'm so happy to have seen him in the ending of the Justice League movie (that movie was pretty good I enjoyed it 7/10). I really hope they make a movie out of him and if they don't make a movie out of him. At least make a movie out of the DC superheroes and have Deathstroke as the villain in the movie. The Deathstroke figure is so amazing I love the armor and the signature mask he has it gives him that unique feel of mystery and that you just have to know more about this character. He is one strong super villain too, It's awesome to see how one villain can have strength, intellect, agility, and even be able to regenerate his wounds when he's cut. I love Deathstroke I give him a solid 10/10 hands down. He's been around in comics and games and has fought other superheroes not just Batman. DC Comics did a fantastic job with this villain and I truly hope to see more of Deathstroke in the years to come.
