Killer Moth, Prisoner 234026, Cameron van Cleer, Mothman, Danko Twag, Laszlo Furlenbach, and Charaxes are some of the names attached to the man behind the green moth faced mask. The true identity of the infamous Killer Moth is Drury Walker.

ORIGINS

Drury Walker is a criminal of Gotham city who was put into prison. Drury became known as Prisoner 234026. Drury knew who Batman was and the fame and hero status he held. While in prison, Drury read a newspaper article about Batman. After reading the article, Drury wants to become the "anti-batman" for criminals. These criminals would hire Drury for protection against other criminals and the Batman himself. Drury loves the idea of how he can be the so-called "guardian" for criminals. When Drury is released from prison and finally is not prisoner 234026 anymore. He creates the alias Cameron van Cleer. With this alias, Drury is now seen as a wealthy philanthropist to society. He even befriends Bruce Wayne himself. Drury now creates another persona, as we well know as Killer Moth. As Drury (Cameron van Cleer) meets and does business deals with criminals all throughout Gotham City. He gives these criminals each an infra-red Moth Signal, to use when they need help. Just like when commissioner Gordan flips on the bat signal to inform Batman that Gotham City needs help. Killer Moth is literally the opposite of Batman from Moth and Bat signals to the Mothmobile and Batmobile. Back to the Origins story now, Killer Moth is on his first mission as one of the criminals has set off the infra-red Moth signal. Killer Moth on his first job saves some criminals from Gotham City's police force. Killer Moth also uses his Mothmobile the same night, to defeat and capture the dynamic duo Batman and Robin. Batman and Robin eventually escape and have an epic battle on Gotham Bridge with Killer Moth, which ends with Killer Moths defeat.

MY OPINION ABOUT KILLER MOTH

In my own opinion, Killer Moth I feel like is an underrated villain in the Gotham City list of villains. Killer Moth I feel is a solid character that should've been more up in the ranks of a Joker status well-known villain. Honestly, if I saw Killer Moth in one of the 2000's Batman movies that would've been so amazing to have seen. If Scarecrow and Killer Moth teamed up to fight Batman that would've made an epic movie. I thoroughly enjoy the whole persona of Killer Moth and how in a way. He's like a guardian to criminals it's really unique to see that. DC Comics did an amazing job adding Killer Moth to the villains of Gotham City I just wish he was more popular in my own opinion.
